The Life of Christ
Life Group Leader: Gary Kelley & Charlie Richards
Location: Adult classroom 204
This class will explore the life of Christ using the scriptures as our textbook. Topics include: The Birth of Christ; John the Baptist; The Baptism of Christ; The Twelve Apostles; Miracles; The Sermon on the Mount; The Parables; Judean Ministry; Galilean Ministry; Perean Ministry; Trial of Jesus; The Crucifixion, The Resurrection. The format will be discussion and scripture analysis. All ages are welcome.

Senior Adults

This challenging class for seniors uses the curriculum produced by Light & Life Quarterly.

Women's Bible Study
Life Group Leader: Betty Hacker
Location: Adult classroom 202
This class will be studying 1 & 2 Thessalonians. Participants will use class discussion and bible resources to dig into these letters Paul wrote to encourage and to correct some of the misunderstandings the church in Thessalonica was struggling with. All women are welcome.

Focus is a new initiative that seeks to bring people together for the purpose of pursuing clarity in our faith and everyday lives. Life Groups using Focus materials are self-defined and self-directed. Individuals, couples, and families are encouraged to determine: with whom, when, and where they will meet. Groups may have a designated facilitator or have members share the role of facilitating the discussion.

Nexus: Connecting Your Life to God and His Church

A five week discussion group about the overall ministry of the Davison Free Methodist Church and specifically, membership. We do not assume that all participants in these discussions will become full members, but we do encourage everyone who attends to consider it. Regardless if you have attended DFMC for a while, or have been a previous member of another church, we believe the time will be beneficial to you and your faith journey.

Men's Life Group

Using the Book of Proverbs, this study looks at the timeless knowledge that God has passed on to us through King Solomon and others on a wide variety of subjects such as: love, death, attitudes towards work, as well as teach values, wisdom and more.

Women's Life Group
Life Group Leader: Fran Maiers
Location: Room 201
Living Above Worry and Stress, a seven week study using Women of Faith Study Guide Series featuring a unique way of addressing our worry and stress in a very practical way, through God's Word. This seven week series offers a variety of ways to address the worries and stress that steal our joy on a daily basis.

Care Givers Group

1st Wednesday of each month, 7:00 pm; Location: Chapel
A support group that offers encouragement and help to those who are caring for family members and loved ones.
